I’m a Designer who loves solving creative problems throughout the design process. Whether it be creating and facilitating workshops, chatting to users in research sessions, developing wireframes or pairing with developers to craft an end product.

What I’m about

I’m currently leading UX as part of a web work-stream on BBC Sounds. Day-to-day I work with product, research, editorial and engineering to ensure the product meets the needs of both our audience and the business.

I have been at the BBC for 4 years where I’ve worked on products such as iPlayer, Children's, Weather and Pan-BBC horizontal teams. I have highlighted that I can think holistically about the bigger picture across each product and the wider business, whilst also remaining focused on the little details, ensuring we deliver experiences which are delightful, intuitive and put our audience at the heart.

I believe collaboration is key to building a great product and will always drive inclusion and involvement from each discipline from the beginning.

Prior to the BBC I was an Interaction Designer at product experience agency Seymourpowell. There I worked alongside a multi-disciplinary team of designers, working on projects encompassing spaces, objects, experiences and digital outputs.

Outside of work you’ll likely find me watching football, chatting about football or playing video games (likely football related). I can also be found out exploring or in the kitchen attempting to cook.
